Duties and Responsibilities: Sports reporters are needed to communicate news concerning sports all over the world. They are usually required to be on the field during the duration of the sports occurrence in order to be able to capture moments that sometimes people aren't able to see on the screen. They can cover news on any sport out there, some including; soccer, basketball, baseball, and football to name a few. Sometimes they are needed to interview players. They also start their careers as sports reporters but may progress into sportscaster’s.

Salary: Ranges depending on level of experience.

Education: People looking to get in the sports reporter field are required to have an associate’s degree in broadcasting, journalism, or Television production. They also need to have some sort of experience with internships at television stations as well as writing skills. Another one of the most recent qualities they are required to have is the mastering of social media.

Reflection: I would love to be a sports reporter because I am an absolutely huge fanatic of all sports and I would love to be able to be on the field near the players and enjoying the games. I would also greatly enjoy the communicating of sports stories to people all over the world.
