Anesthesiologist
Duties and
Responsibilities: Anesthesiologists are medical doctors who care for
patients before, during, and after surgical procedures by administering a
certain amount of anesthesia to the patient. They also monitor the patients for
reactions after the anesthesia is given. They also meet with the patient before
the procedure to gain their medical information in order for the process to
begin.
Salary:
$260,000-$430,000
Education:
They are required to attend medical school for four years during which the
first two are spent building basic sciences and the other two in clinical
training.
Reflection:
I would maybe want to become an anesthesiologist because it would be a job that
gave me the satisfaction of relieving someone’s pain. It would also be a very
risky job, one foul dose and it can make a terrible impact on a patient.
