This statement
shows us the character of Dean Smith. With this quote he is showing us what an
incredibly responsible coach he was, always doing what was right not caring if
he was seen as someone important or not. I think we should all follow his
example of doing what is right no matter what. We should all be able to form
the right decisions even if we know that they might not make us an incredibly
well rewarded person. The statement shows us to keep doing right and maybe just
maybe we will find success even if that is not all that important.
