Environmental Health Specialist
Duties and
Responsibilities: Specialists
are to ensure the safety of different buildings whether residential,
commercial, or recreational. They normally have to identify any hazards at the
location. Point them out, and of course fix them as quickly as possible. They
might work for either the federal or state government.
Salary:
$37,000-$57,000
Education:
like in other jobs the
specialists are required to have a bachelor’s degree. They are also required to
have taken courses in chemistry, physical sciences, biology, and environmental
engineering. Finally, they must be certified by either a federal or state
agency.
Reflection: I would thoroughly enjoy being an
environmental specialist because keeping people safe is extremely important and
those who work in this also get to travel quite often.
