Health Sciences Librarian

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: A practitioner provides health information access through different forms like books, pamphlets, presentations, and internet. They also help provide an immense amount of information to patients and students as well. They can be found working in pharmaceutical facilities, medical schools, and health organizations amongst others.

Salary: $58,000

Education: They are required to have taken classes in English, science, typing, and mathematics. They must also obtain a 4 year bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree in a required course. Practitioners must also have good communication skills.

Reflection: I would not necessarily be immensely interested in the pathway but I do believe that it is a quite interesting part of the medical field. I also like the fact that the librarians get to have hands-on research done.
