“Many think that the short term gain will be worth the
long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and
there is nothing worse in sports than a cheat. Don’t do it.”-George Mitchell
What Mitchell is saying in this quote is pretty
self-explanatory. There is no way that cheating will make you feel good in the
long run. Perhaps at the moment of the cheating event you might feel good about
winning but deep down you will always know that it was not fair and that you
aren't as good as you think you are. In sports, we expect to see the greatest
athletes in the world, whom train to get to the position that they are in. we
do not want those who make use of illegal substances to enhance their
performance, that is just plain horrible.
