Duties and
Responsibilities: These
specialists usually work in either hospitals or for government agencies. They
are responsible for taking care of the patients’ personal information as well
as making sure that their health records are a hundred percent accurate.
Salary:
$40,000
Education:
The specialists need to be familiar with medical vocabulary no matter what.
They might also be required to obtain an associate’s degree in health
management. Just like in any other medical career they need to be certified.
Reflection:
I would like to become a health information specialist because I am not really
interested in having to deal with blood and I believe that this is a very good
medical pathway.
