“I am not bound to
win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right and
part with him when he goes wrong.”-Abraham Lincoln
What this quote means
it that you must always be with those who do right in order to influence you
into doing what is right as well. Once you start to realize that what people
are doing is wrong, than you should immediately distance yourself from those who
will only bring misfortune into your life. An example in which this quote
applies to life is when you start to spend your time with the good people who
are always doing their work and never getting into trouble. When you are around
those people, you are most likely going to act the same way. On the contrary,
when you surround yourself of those whom
seem to never do what is right you will end up being affected by their
actions.
